DECAYDS is the musical project of Irish songwriter David Knowles.
After decades of unfinished lyrics and melodies, David began recording as a creative outlet.
Rooted in storytelling, his songs draw on family, memory and reflection, moving between stripped-back acoustic music and alternative rock.
Much of his recent writing explores sadness, loss and the emotions that accompany grief.
