Ceolaire's boards are for the Irish music community — players, labels, engineers, promoters and listeners. Anyone can read. To post, agree to the rules below.

1.Be decent
Treat people the way you would in a green room. Disagree about music all you like — go after the argument, not the person.
2.No abuse or hate
Harassment, pile-ons and slurs are out — and hate aimed at anyone's race, nationality, religion, gender or gender identity, sexuality, or disability, or sectarian abuse, gets you removed. No warnings for the serious stuff.
3.No spam or self-promo dumps
Sharing your own release is welcome in New music. Posting the same link across ten county channels is not.
4.Keep it roughly on topic
Each channel has a purpose. County rooms are for local scene chat, Gigs for shows, Recording for the technical end.
5.Credit people properly
If you post someone's work, name them. Don't pass off other people's music, art or writing as your own.
6.Nothing illegal
No piracy links, no leaked material, nothing that puts the site at risk.
7.Mods have the final say
Staff can edit, move, lock or delete anything. If you think a call was wrong, say so politely — don't relitigate it in the thread.
