Tomás Mulcahy

Making music since 1989, work that I think resists easy categorisation. Drawing on ambient electronica, cinematic underscore, and contemporary piano composition, my music is less defined by genre than by approach: patient, textural, and deeply attentive to timbre. Vintage synths, found sounds, and acoustic instruments coexist in a practice that values atmosphere and process over convention.
