Jayne Pomplas is a fiddle player, vocalist, and composer deeply rooted in the Irish traditional music tradition. A lifelong exponent of the New York–Sligo style, her playing is shaped by its drive, lift, and expressive ornamentation while remaining distinctly her own. She learned from Brian Conway and Tony Demarco in New York, before moving to Ireland in her late teenage years.
