Conal Ó Gráda

Born in Cork and living in Gaeltacht Mhúscraí, Conal has played the flute since he was small. He has recorded two solo albums, The Top of Coom (1990) and Cnoc Buí (2008), and has guested on many more. A new CD of original compositions, Anú Abú, is being launched early in 2025. He has published a highly regarded book on traditional flute-playing, ‘An Fheadóg Mhór: Traditional Flute Technique’.
