This album incorporates small recordings I have made over the past I don't know how many years, from all over the place. A running idea is a tape my grandfather made as he dictated letters to his secretary in the Winter of 1977. The tape has deteriorated drastically over the years, and so the quality of the noise you hear is not from my processing but actually how it is read by the dictaphone. There are also some bizarre snippets of some of my old bands, demos from when I was in France, piano improvs from when I was pretty much snowed in and noises here and there that I have no memory of making.
