Kryhoo embodies all the elements with his latest instrumental LP 'Beatstrumentals Vol. 2: Still Life'. Hard-hitting drums, intricate syncopated basslines, Jazzy chops, and raw cuts from DJ Okoo and DJ Cut Man Doo all blend together for an outstanding display of authentic Hip-Hop. With a lofi aesthetic mixed a classic golden era feel Kryhoo proves he is a descendant of Pete Rock and Nujabes. Horn stabs echo in and out overtop smooth Jazz chord chops and vintage vinyl hisses and pops. Pete Rock 'reminisce' vocal snippets are dropped in like signature Rock adlibs on the track 'Golden'. The overall feel flow flawlessly while each track still remains it's individual energy.
