UK based Japanese sound artist Ryoko Akama realises While Listening, by Japan based British sound artist Thomas Martin Nutt. Perceptions converge, sounding objects crossfading passing cars and sounds of the outdoors. This is a collection of words and phrases that have become important to me as a direct result of engaging in the writing and actualising of text scores. The scores focus on the process of engagement with learning another language, divorcing sound from meaning and meaning from sound.
