~ This album was recorded less than a year after I had left the band with the creepy name. So, less than 12 months since I had nearly been kicked to death in a Vienna doorway; with all but one of the songs ("Help Myself") written in that window. As has been diagnosed since then, I was experiencing PTSD from the assault, the manner in which my departure manifested with and my experiences whilst a member of said band with creepy name. I think that is why this album is so sonically different. I had already done the noisy experimental RAWK, so I needed to do something different - and also psychologically distance myself from the experiences I had just suffered.
