One For Sorrow was recorded in Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin. I first got inspiration for this album while listening to Nick Drake's Pink Moon album, to which there are a few nods to in this album. Firstly on the cover of the album there is a pink moon located on the top left, secondly there is an instrumental titled as 1972, the year Pink Moon was released. This album is very personal to me. There are songs about love, depression, regret, loneliness, parents, and losing loved ones. I'm delighted how the album came out since I first imagined it. it was meant to be solely acoustic and solo. I got in touch with Eoin about recording it and the album grew.
