The audio tracks in this album are intended as a support for my recently published book, The Ivernia Collection, an assortment of my own compositions as well as arrangements from the Irish traditional music repertoire. As the project progressed I began arranging and reimagining tunes from the Goodman manuscripts as they might have sounded on the old Irish warpipes. I have also arranged and presented some of these tunes as they would be interpreted on the present day bagpipe. For simplicity, I have used a Blair Digital Chanter set to Bb (466hz) in order to cut down on editing and tuning time. I will add to the library over time.
