Music Piece

Music Piece was created in May 2025. It was a music theatre piece for audio playback, one actor, and video design. The form of the piece, and of each segment, was based on Quaker Meeting and experiences of waiting and silence, involving troubled questioning leading to rest, release and communitas. Interest in the mode of listening specific to theatres (patience, being forced to accept duration, combination with light and bodies) as well as the music and interviews of Adrianne Lenker, Brian Eno, and David Bowie inspired the music most of all.
