Resolve

'Complicity' is the fourth and final full-length album by Dublin musician/producer Cormac Phelan under the moniker 'Thirteen'. Where previous 'Thirteen' albums attempted to deal with themes like loss, conflict, tension and guilt, this album deals instead with the resolution of these themes. As such, 'Resolve' is a fitting and uplifting conclusion to the 'Thirteen' project, and the artist couldn't be happier with it as the final piece in this body of work. Musically, 'Resolve' refines many of the stylistic hallmarks of the 'Thirteen' project, which aims to combine texture, sparsity, melody and atmosphere to create dark, intimate recordings.
