Dan Walsh is a musician from Cork City currently active as drummer, bandleader and composer in the shapeshifting (not jazz) ensemble FIXITY. He is saxophonist in The Bonk, drummer with Junior Brother, half of experimental electronic duo Senior Infants and director of The Council For The Dark Arts Orchestra. Dan founded Cork Improvised Music Club in 2013, and his many collaborations at IMC have greatly informed the approach to improvisation which permeates all of his work. This album features eight improvisations on Drums & Cymbals recorded in a single session at Dan’s studio in Cork City. Performed, recorded and mixed by Daniel Walsh. Mastered by Bill Karnation.
