The Misneach Orchestra

The Misneach Orchestra, formed through Craobh Bheartla Uí Fhlatharta, CCÉ Leixlip, features over 50 of Ireland’s most talented musicians. Led by composer and conductor Ciarán FitzGerald, this dynamic ensemble bridges tradition and innovation, presenting newly composed Irish Traditional Music combined with the refinement of classical artistry. With musicians from all over the country, this ensemble pushes Irish music in a bold, contemporary direction while maintaining a deep-rootedness in the tradition. This album features ‘The Misneach Suite’, a newly-composed and arranged body of work, celebrating courage and creativity within Irish heritage.
