Lullaby for Dead Rooms

My first album under the name Snowfilter Cult. This is a project I have built around the feelings of dark nostalgia, memories that are sad, confusing, or even a little angry. I wanted to make something that feels like an eternal waking nightmare. Some tracks are slow and ambient, like you're sitting with a memory you wish had ended differently. Others are loud, noisy, and harsh, because some memories burn. The ambient side of the album is inspired by artists like Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Tim Hecker and Sign Crushes Motorist. The heavier and noisier moments draw from the intensity of Swans, Dreamcrusher, Merzbow, Boris, and Himukalt.
