Remix in Rhythm

The DAWHEADS, a collaboration between electronic artists Dubdelay and Tim Hopkins began in 2022, following the discovery of a shared mindset, but more than that, a friendship that began with a radio interview. First attempts were somewhat tentative. In fact, the first release, a single called Fibre Optic received absolutely no attention. It was, however, a beginning. 2023 saw the release of LUFS, an EP that established a collaborative routine and perhaps began to resemble more closely, their combined vision. 2024’s Form in Rhythm moved closer still. Things were changing because both Dubdelay and Tim were shifting away from software driven music towards increased use of hardware.
