A patchwork assemblage of ambient, techno and fourth world-influenced electronic music from Strand Unit. Edited and assembled from field recordings, samples, improvised hardware jams, as well as guitar, analogue and digital synths, (and a tiny toy sax), Rift and Calving shifts perspective from slow, quiet sounds, to loose, rhythmic beat workouts that travel variegated routes in a recondite sound trip.
