HYPER[BOREA] [lit. "Those who dwell beyond the North Wind”] It all started back in 1993 when film maker / ambient music composer DAVID BICKLEY came up with the idea of fusing the Irish language with dance music. Samples were made and an arrangement was drawn up with TOM GREEN [TOM GREEN has worked with THE ORB and with his own projects, ANOTHER FINE DAY and STRANGE ATTRACTOR]. Stunning vocalist, lyricist and Irish Language scholar, ÚNA O'BOYLE then came on board and a recording of the now classic “DÚLAMAN” was released. Eventually STARC RECORDS [home of many trad outfits] took up the gauntlet and produced this classic.
