By 1996 Hot Apple Pie's compositions and arrangements were becoming too complex for just one twangman to handle. Enter Mickey Dazzler - young shit hot hot shit axe-wielder from North Kildare, the only bucko with the chops to keep up with the furious six string pace set by Hot Apple Pie. Dazzler brought a tough guy flavour to the twin guitar attack, reflecting his hard upbringing in the urban conurbations of the Short Grass County. With the addition of Dazzler, Proto Box metamorphosised into Snackbox and the rest, as they say, is Kildare Metal history.
