Five tracks that have been gathering dust for the last five years. INFO: SB02 is a collection of five club-oriented tracks spanning multiple styles by Dublin artist Small Bear. Made at various points over the last five years, they are now finally seeing release on 18th February. Idle Hands (128bpm) opens the EP with a steady tech/prog house groove. A dubby bassline anchors the track while a squelchy, resonant synth wraps around it. Subtle pads slowly rise alongside leading to a euphoric, hands-in-the-air breakdown that is made for peak time dancefloors. Love Child (134bpm) is a more low-key, after-party vibe.
