Shane Meehan's debut album featuring 19 original compositions. Originally from county Leitrim, Shane was taught by his grandfather John Meehan, and grew up playing with local musicians such as Dave Sheridan, Oliver Loughlin, Damian O'Brien and Padraig McGovern. He also was influenced by Ben Lennon and recordings of Sligo masters Michael Coleman, James Morrison, Paddy Killoran and Lad O'Beirne The album features bouzouki accompaniment from Macdara Ó'Faoláin from An Rinn in county Waterford, and piano accompaniment by Kevin Brehony from Sligo.
