Seoid have been playing together for over four years and individually have been associated with traditional music all of their lives. All Ireland banjo player and music teacher Kerrie Herrity was born in Luton and returned to Ireland to settle in north Sligo, a landscape that has shaped her compositions from the natural harbor of Clashymore on the island of Inismurray off the Sligo coast to the hill of Knocklane. Kerrie and Kenny recorded “Box and Banjo” in 2015 and have been playing together since the early 2000’s. Kenny is a renowned multi-instrumentalist and composer from Easkey in Co. Sligo.
