Suite "Pampas" No. 1 by Argentine composer Héctor Ayala is a cornerstone of Latin American classical guitar. This seven-movement suite explores traditional folk forms from across Argentina, blending Ayala’s classical training with the rich musical traditions of his (my) homeland. From the lyrical Canción and rhythmic Milonga to the beautiful Vidalita, spirited Zamba, and vibrant Bailecito, each piece is a tribute to the diverse cultural and regional expressions of Argentina.
