ceiliúr na camhaoire ag corra binne

Between early February to May 2025, once a week I would get up at six, five or four in the morning, and venture out to Corra Binne (Curraghbinny Woods) in Cork, Ireland. I would go into the forest, set up my microphones, and record an ceiliúr na camhaoire (dawn chorus) as the sun slowly rose over the trees. I was curious as the mornings got earlier and brighter, and as the winter slipped away into spring, and progressed towards summer, how would the forest change as different birds returned with the changing of the season. While listening to the second dawn chorus, I heard what sounded like some sort of droning chord through the wind and trees.
