It received its first performance at the Festival Synthese in Bourges on June 12th 1989. In part 1 my actress friend and multi-collaborator Olwen Fouéré (who played the part of Charlotte Corday in Peter Weiss' Marat/Sade unforgettably in Dublin previously) collated texts from Corday letters and used her voice in extra-ordinary ways.
