STRAYS is a two album set that spans a decade of electroacoustic composition by Robin Parmar. This anthology collects tracks from compilations and collaborative projects, unreleased experiments, and excerpts from live performances. "This collection of sixteen tracks comprise a sonic manifesto in platial thinking. Each composition has been constructed from sounds encountered in the environment: beach stones, plastic wrap, electromagnetic disturbances, broken pianos, ice machines, radio voices, etc. These materials are employed for their sonic textures; electronic transformations reveal hidden properties and interactions.
