“Resistance (1999 Remix)” marked the final song from the ‘Resistance’ era to be revisited ahead of ‘Transcendence' (Super Deluxe Edition), following the re-recordings of “Too Late”, “Over”, and “Older” that formed the core of the original ‘Transcendence’ EP. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Jordan Arteaga, this version reimagines the title track through the lens of Robert O’Connor’s original inspiration: the late-’90s Cheiron sound that dominated pop at the turn of the millennium. Drawing from the punchy, high-gloss power pop of artists like Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, the “1999 Remix” leans fully into crisp drums, stacked harmonies, and an unapologetically melodic chorus.
