Feochán (The Gentle Breeze)

‘A Master of His Instrument…A Confidence and Proficiency beyond most Traditional Players’ – Irish Music Magazine Roundwood Records, in association with Jiggery Pokery Productions, are delighted to announce the release of Feochán, the debut solo album by Robert Harvey. Showcasing a variety of tunes sourced from collections made by O'Neill, Goodman, Fleischmann, Joyce, Petrie and Kerr, in addition to more recent compositions, Feochán was recorded live in Tyrrelstown House over three days in 2019. On this album, Robert sets out to explore the interpretive and expressive possibilities inherent across a range of flutes, ably accompanied on harp, guitar, piano, harmonium and bodhrán.
