Turbulent Mediator EP

“Turbulent Mediator” is the fifth EP by Irish recording artist Robert Crosbie / Geisha, and is a companion EP to “Hummm”, also released in 2020. Following on from the “Hummm” EP, this release focuses even more on the guitar, and specifically the shoegaze sound. Across its four epic tracks, this EP delivers epic instrumental music, reminiscent of Sigur Ros at their most cinematic. “Winged” kicks off the EP, taking a twisting guitar part and adding tapping hi hats and shakers before a long drawn out guitar part echoes back on itself almost infinitely. “The Island” is a true epic, piecing two parts together into one enormous outpouring.
