The Universal Reveal

The Universal Reveal is a long-delayed album, having been originally recorded in 2019 and finally released in full in May 2025. It captures Robert Crosbie / Geisha at a turning point, pulling trademark atmospheres into darker, more rhythm-driven territory where trip-hop, drum & bass, dub reggae, and ambient textures collide with full vocal performances for the first time. The album opens with "Black Rhumba", a moody, hypnotic groove that sets the tone with distorted bass and ghostly layers. "Down In My Bones" follows, a funky trip hop track with a melodic chorus that builds and twists before shifting into an explosion of drums.
