“The Global Machine” is the second in a trilogy of themed albums, which started with 2021’s “Afterglow”. The trilogy aims to explore influences from the late 80s and early 90s, to see how the music of that time can influence the decision-making process. With that approach in mind, this album isn't afraid to have a little fun. While “Afterglow” was a sprawling, 15-track affair, “The Global Machine” is short and tight, and consists of two distinct halves – the first being more accessible music, the second more experimental - with a strong influence from progressive rock and pop of the era.
