Light Everlasting

This album marks a clear step forward from the debut "The Sounds of Geisha", introducing a greater presence of drums and beats and moving into what might best be described as ambient trip-hop. The opening track "Munk" weaves in an early version of the vocal samples later heard on "Darkness Progression" (from "The Delirium Introduction"). Its ominous bassline could have sat comfortably on the debut, bridging the earlier sound with this newly unfolding direction. "Twin" appears here as an early sketch of "The Closest Colour to Yellow", while "H20" drifts into pure ambience, its curious vocal sample echoing like a memory from another time.
