Spanning the years 2009–2017, this album is a journey through outtakes, remixes, and unreleased tracks. It opens and closes with "We Haven’t Been Introduced", an eerie piano piece originally intended for "Further / Closer", setting the tone for this album’s introspective and otherworldly landscapes. Two tracks by Riot Tapes, "Cardinal Rules" and "Photograph", receive fresh reinterpretations here, capturing a period when Robert played with the band, from 2011 to 2014. From the "Family Album" recording sessions comes the slow, ponderous "Mirage on the Harbour" and "...And a Dream of Spirits", alongside an early incarnation of "The Eternal Light".
