Afterglow

On his ninth album, "AFTERGLOW", Robert Crosbie/Geisha strikes out in a bold new direction. Inspired by the music of the late ’80s and early ’90s, the album makes no attempt to recreate that era, but rather reimagines it. The guiding questions are: how would an artist of that time arrange these songs? Which instruments would they choose? What might a Robert Crosbie/Geisha album have sounded like in 1989—or 1991? In searching for answers, Robert immersed himself in the music of his formative years: early Peter Gabriel, King Crimson’s ’80s output, Yes’s 90125, FM rock, and pop landmarks of the era.
