"A Sound Is A Memory" is the fourth album by recording artist Robert Crosbie / Geisha, a rich and immersive collection that moves seamlessly between textured electronics, live instruments, and expansive, cinematic atmospheres. While the music could broadly be described as 'electronic', it transcends any single label. Live guitars, keyboards, percussion, saxophone, and walls of psychedelic sound intertwine across the album, with each track flowing seamlessly into the next to create a continuous, immersive experience. A defining feature of the album is Robert’s use of childhood tapes - snippets of radio plays, fleeting music, chattering voices, and singing.
