Renat EP

I recorded these four tracks on a cassette tape in 2005 and 2006. It was a time of exploration and fun. I had a Sony stereo which, in addition to the 3 CD decks, also had 2 cassette decks, which allowed me to record tracks and then create overdubs. While I had co-written and recorded songs with a friend before (my contribution was usually the lyrics and some vocals) and later created my own experimental tracks, by 2005 I was confident enough to create structures that resembled traditional songs more closely. Still, my approach at that time was mainly experimental, which is why a lot of these recordings still sound so fresh and interesting to me.
