Scintillae

Scintillae by Raymond Deane is a new CD featuring piano works composed across Deane's prolific career including Orphica (1969-1971), Linos I/II (1973), Triarchia (1977-8), Raccordement (2017) and Scintillae (2021). These works are vibrantly played by pianist Moritz Ernst throughout. The album, featuring artwork by Renate Debrun is available on CD, unlimited streaming and download. For fifty years, the piano has been the backbone of Raymond Deane’s creative output. This journey began at age sixteen with the first Orphic Piece, a work that set the stage for a career defined by breaking contemporary taboos.
