this is the oldest PtaliaHelicopter recording and is unchanged since 2003. it's exactly 15 minutes long. aa is 1 minute, bb is 2, cc is 3, dd is 4, and, of course, ee is 5. it was recorded at a time when i'd just discovered home recording. the whole e.p. was recorded with a shure sm58 dynamic microphone directly into the back of my pc (without a preamp) using cakewalk 9. all recorded in 168 fernhill, arklow, co. wicklow, ireland. the first four songs in me and Rob's room and the last in Niamh's. at the time i was also a lot less content with my own voice and that's fairly obvious from it's position in the mix.
