ph emerged from the demise of the Peridots (who in turn emerged form the Modern Heirs) from Dublin, Ireland in 1982. ph is mostly Pete Hamilton with passing members Pat Larkin and Des O'Byrne. The equipment was a Davoli, Kiawia. Transcendent 2000, a string machine and an organ. This cassette presents 9 tracks recorded between 1982 and 1984. Hamilton gave it all up in 1984, overwhelmed by the underwhelming response to a public who would take another 30 years to finally appreciate the beauty of his music.
