Out in the Day

"Just in the same way Bob Marley sings of Kingston Jamaica and The Saw Doctors sing of Tuam, Peter Casey sings of North Clare. The great songwriters make their neighbourhood important to music people from all over. We recognise the importance of place and the power of place when the story is presented with passion for that place. Peter is comfortable with who he is and with where he comes from in North Clare. He is the bard of old who sings of his neighbours like the shop in Ennis that sells everything and the GAA community that is such a big part of his world.
