The Dark Familiar & From Some Remove LP

The Dark Familiar, featuring contributions from friends and musicians from across the world (Australia, UAE, UK), takes its name from a book by the great Irish writer Dermot Healy, as Peter explains. "Dave Steel, who produced that album recommended his book A Goat's Song which I read, loved and sought out all his work. It really seemed to suit this collection of songs." The first single 'Where Do I Begin?' inhabits an atmospheric Celtic rock and widescreen alt-country sound,complete with swirling keyboards and tougher, edgier guitars.
