Half Seen Figure

Half Seen Figure marks Perlee's second body of work. These songs began life as demos which Cormac and Saramai rediscovered during lockdown and developed into this collection. The bones of Sticky Blood and Slow Your Eyes were recorded in the remote countryside of Kells Co. Meath Ireland and then remixed in Berlin by Perlee. Bird and the Statue and Chain of Coral (Reprise) were recorded at the same time as Perlee's first EP Slow Creature in the north of Ireland at an entirely analogue studio. Layering, experimenting and remixing in Berlin during the lockdown resulted in some new grittier textures. The Chain of Coral (Reprise) is a raw unedited live performance.
