Peco's debut solo album, 'The Middle Ages' is jam packed with jangly electric guitar riffs and pop melodies, reminiscent of 80s & 90s indie rock. All built upon the Roots & Folk foundations laid down in his 2017 EP 'And So I Arrived At The Start'. One constant throughout both releases is the lyrical content and depth. A general theme throughout the album is one of self evaluation and growing older. The title, ‘The Middle Ages’, obviously hints at this but it’s also a reference to how the world at large seems to be moving backwards to a less enlightened place in the last couple of years.
