Nūeira

The original working title for this release was Dark Light, this phrase came to mind after the violence of October 7th in the Middle East. There's so much darkness and hopelessness on the media these days there doesn't seem to be much space for positivity to shine through! This is the context in which Nūeira was conceived. On it you’ll hear field recordings blend and merge with ominous, eerie drones, as Nūeira progresses lighter and warmer sounds emerges. The overall sound and atmosphere on this release is different to that of my earlier ones. This is partly due to a greater working knowledge of my DAW and sound design in general.
