The Song Box is the first solo release by Irish singer/songwriter Pat Burgess. It features eleven original compositions by Pat and one Traditional number sourced from Pat's late father, Jim Burgess. A mix of Folk Rock, Americana, Irish Folk and Cajun music are the genres present on this album. Songs and stories of time and place both real and imagined are present in the lyrics and music.
