Here are some notes about the album from Erstwhile Books & Music: "Aonghus Reidy AKA Ocean Floor returns after the sublime 4 Shadows record for Aphelion Edition with a much longer single piece, spread over 2 sides of 180gm vinyl. Named The World of Rain, Reidy conjures a similar sound as on his previous effort, utilising analogue synth to create a bubbling, liquid piece full of languorous melancholy.
