Abyssal Plain is the new project from Irish musician Aonghus Reidy. New album 'Senses' features six pieces of music with hypnotic bass guitar patterns and ethereal synthesizer melodies. Instrumental bass-led compositions featuring dark atmospheres inspired by trawls through underground 1980s cassette releases. Distant guitar melodies set against deep bass tones and minimal drum machine patterns, with occasional organ harmonies that rise out of the background.
