Ocean Floor

Twelve pieces of electronic music, written in Ireland between 2005 and 2010. The earliest track 'Pour', written in 2005, features sounds made with a wine glass and pouring water, rubbing the wine glass to make tones. The music varies from electroacoustic compositions such as 'Voices' (composed from electronic processing of vocal sounds) to beat-focused tracks such as 'Silver Bubbles'. In contrast to more recent work, many of these synth compositions are backed by sampled percussion instruments and synthetic drum sounds.
