V e x a t i o n

This E.P. is the realisation of Niamh O'Sullivan's thesis 'The Accuracy of Sung Xentonal Pitches by a Choir using MIDI-Generated Reference Tracks'. Vexation was developed on a scale of 17 roots of Phi, commonly known as the Golden Ratio, and was recorded during a Covid-19 lockdown. This exotic release combines the complexities of xentonal singing and the nuances of a layered single voice to create a thrilling and unique experience.
